A photographer, communications guru, and tech policy nerd. I'm Paraguayan-Japanese, born and raised in Miami, and I've called Washington DC home for the past 4 years. I’m very fortunate to my intercultural background that I’m able speak English, Spanish, and Japanese, which has been a great skill to have in such a international city like DC.
In Miami I used to focus on fashion photography and brand campaigns, covering Miami Swim Week and working with corporate brands like Amex, FE International, and Invicta Watches.
Since moving to DC, I've moved away from fashion photography into event photography—my girlfriend is very happy about this—and videography for members of Congress, think tanks, corporate partners, nonprofit organizations, federal agencies, and museums. Whether it’s a Capitol Hill reception, a policy panel, or a cultural event at the Smithsonian, I'm able to capture those vibrant moments.
When I'm not behind the camera, I'm pursuing a graduate degree in international affairs at American University, focused on technology and cyber policy.
If you need a photographer in Washington, DC who can capture the life and energy of your events, I think you've found your guy.
